  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Small sauce pan
  • Blender
  • Medium bowl

Materials

Pancake

  • 2 cups gluten-free self-raising/ wholemeal self-raising flour
  • 1.5 cups dairy-free milk
  • 2 tbsp seamoss
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste / 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Strawberry Sauce

  • 200 grams strawberries
  • 4-5 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Pancakes

  • Preheat the frying pan onto medium heat
  • Add all the pancake ingredients in a medium bowl and mix everything until you get a thick creamy and slightly runny consistency
  • Add more flour if needed or too runny
  • Add 1/2 a cup of pancake mixture into the heated frying pan, when the pancake has formed flip it over and cook for another 2 minutes until brown.

Strawberry Sauce

  • Add chopped strawberries and maple syrup to a saucepan
  • Cook for 5 minutes
  • Transfer to a blender and blend mixture until smooth
  • Plate up your pancakes with the strawberry sauce and top with fresh berries.
    TIP: Did you know 1 tablespoon of Seamoss replaces 1 egg
