- Non-stick frying pan
- Small sauce pan
- Blender
- Medium bowl
Materials
Pancake
- 2 cups gluten-free self-raising/ wholemeal self-raising flour
- 1.5 cups dairy-free milk
- 2 tbsp seamoss
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste / 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberry Sauce
- 200 grams strawberries
- 4-5 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
Pancakes
- Preheat the frying pan onto medium heat
- Add all the pancake ingredients in a medium bowl and mix everything until you get a thick creamy and slightly runny consistency
- Add more flour if needed or too runny
- Add 1/2 a cup of pancake mixture into the heated frying pan, when the pancake has formed flip it over and cook for another 2 minutes until brown.
Strawberry Sauce
- Add chopped strawberries and maple syrup to a saucepan
- Cook for 5 minutes
- Transfer to a blender and blend mixture until smooth
- Plate up your pancakes with the strawberry sauce and top with fresh berries. TIP: Did you know 1 tablespoon of Seamoss replaces 1 egg
